Harav Amital's personal impact of the Holocaust, affecting both his theology, and his Jewish identity.
This shiur, from the vantage of the talmid, displays the affect of the Shoah upon the Rosh Yeshiva, in an attempt to present the fabric of what we experienced as his talmidim. Quoting many sichot of Yom HaAtmaut and Yom Yerushalayim, Rav Taragin reveals how deeply impactful the Holocaust was upon his rebbe's view of the State, sovereignty, morality, aloneness and racial identification.
[Please note: This shiur incorrectly identifies the author of Chovat Halevavot as a talmid of the Ramban. The sefer was authored by a 'different'/earlier Rabenu Bachye Ibn Pekuda who wasnt a talmid of the Ramban.]
