Ma'aseh Avot Siman leBanim - Lessons from Parents and Children in Sefer Bereishit, a conversation with Dr. Tovah Lichtenstein and Rav Mosheh Lichtenstein.

This lecture was delivered at the Tanakh Study Days sponsored by the Herzog Academic College, and is shared courtesy of the HaTanakh website.

Studying and teaching Sefer Bereishit can be a tool in understanding the parent child relationship in all its complexity. Issues such as sameness and difference, continuity, change and tradition can be learned from the fathers and mothers of Am Israel. This panel, of a mother who is a social worker and a son who is a Rosh Yeshiva, will address these issues theoretically and practically.

This website is constantly being improved. We would appreciate hearing from you. Questions and comments on the classes are welcome, as is help in tagging, categorizing, and creating brief summaries of the classes. Thank you for being part of the Torat Har Etzion community!
