Re'eh | "Ashrei"
What does the gemara in Berakhot mean when it says that someone who recites "ashrei" three times a day is deserving of Olam Ha-ba? The key to this is in our parasha. "Ashrei" revolves around the passuk that says that God opens his hand and satisfies the needs of all life on Earth. In our parasha we learn how He does this - through partnership with man. Those who have give to those who are needy and help them through hard times. He who is truly deserving of Olam Ha-ba is he who emulates that aspect of God and partners with him in satisfying the needs of all life.
